Migrants of Dara Adam Khel
Migration has been a fundamental aspect of human history, shaping societies and cultures across the globe. Migrants, individuals who move from one place to another, often across national borders, do so for a variety of reasons, including economic opportunities, political asylum, family reunification, and more.
Historically, the Pashtuns, a large and predominantly tribal ethnic group, have lived in the mountainous regions of what is now eastern and southern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan. Their society was traditionally organized around tribal structures, and many Pashtun tribes engaged in seasonal migrations, moving between highland and lowland areas with their livestock. These movements were not confined by modern national borders, and Pashtuns would migrate across the region, which was part of various empires and kingdoms over the centuries.
Historians have written in detail about the history of Afghans. However, we will not go into detail about that, but one point historians have clarified is that all Pashtuns are Afghans. So here Dara Adam Khel Pashtuns migration will be discussed briefly.
Historians suggest that Pashtuns have migrated from Afghanistan and settled in various regions of today Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Therefore, Dara Adam Khel's Afridis are not different Because no family or tribe in Dara Adam Khel can prove that Father Adam and Mother Eve started the family of humanity from Dara Adam Khel or settled any of their children here. The main reason for presenting this argument is that some inhabitants in Dara Adam Khel call each other migrants or, in Pashto, "Roghalya" but forget about their own early origin and migrant or "Roghalya" status.
Thus, it is evident from the above discussion that all inhabitants in Dara Adam Khel are migrants or "Roghalya" with minor differences: some of the migrants migrated earlier, whereas others migrated later. Respecting each other rights and treating each other as humans is the only way forward.
