Migration has been a fundamental aspect of human history, shaping societies and cultures across the globe. Historically, the Pashtuns, a large and predominantly tribal ethnic group, have lived in the mountainous regions of what is now eastern and southern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan. Their society was traditionally organized around tribal structures, and many Pashtun tribes engaged in seasonal migrations, moving between highland and lowland areas with their livestock.
